Job Purpose
Business Development is responsible for supporting the outside sales team and customers. This individual will be responsible for developing an effective strategy to support new, current leads and nurture existing accounts, create an effective sales process utilizing Salesforce and SAP, and improve upon broker and operational processes. They will promote the sales and service culture through effective coaching, guidance and staff motivation, and achieves sales goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of relationships.
Duties and responsibilities
Applicant must be detail-oriented and be able to work independently as well as in a team. Must be able to prioritize workload, keep track of due dates and get the job done from start to finish with accuracy. Be responsible for assigned tasks. Great verbal and written communication skills are key for this role, as well as ability to communicate clearly with customers/vendors via multiple channels.
Proficiency with MS Office as well as Salesforce is a plus. We will train you on our products, which is essential for sales.

Job Purpose
CPS is looking to add an Field Applications Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to our fast growing team. This role is very important to support our product lines, sales, service operations, and customers. This position will work closely with the product and service operations teams to provide field support on CPS products and solutions as well as help advance the CPS product line. The ideal candidate should have detailed knowledge and experience with solar PV and energy storage technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Service team and Customers with product and application knowledge including engineering support and technical training
- Remain a product expert in the industry and within the company
- Build a relationship with users/customer and build their confidence in CPS products in order to provide customers with great experience and satisfaction with using CPS products
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to CPS products

Job Purpose
The Field Service Technician’s primary role is to support customers and field installations using Chint Power Systems (CPS) products; typical customers include solar integrators, EPC’s, Financiers/Developers, O&M providers and Distributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer site to repair or replace CPS inverters, trouble shoot problems relating to inverter
- Perform commission of CPS inverters at the customer’s site
- Build a relationship with users/customer and build their confidence in CPS products in order to provide customers with great experience and satisfaction with using CPS products
- File reports of all service activities within CPS and for customers
- Collaborate with sales and services teams to build relationships and support new projects with customers
- Communicate with HQ, promptly address market and customer requests to increase customer satisfaction
- Be professional in all aspects of work quality, communications, company and individual presentation
- Use leading edge safety practices and implement company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 2 year AA degree or 4 year college degree relating to electrical, power electronics field
- 5 years of experience with solar and/or energy industry services, commissioning, and applications
- Knowledge of solar PV inverter and technology (residential, commercial, utility, power conversion)
- Knowledge in use of DVM, Current probes and power meters.
- Experience in field repair, maintenance, diagnostics of inverter, data communications and PV array
- Knowledge with industry standards and codes (NEC, UL, IEEE, utility interactivity)
- Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Outlook suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, diplomacy and sensitivity to critical communications
- Multiplexer, agile, speed and problem solving oriented, systematic, organized, eager to travel regularly and with short notice for sake of customer satisfaction and field portfolio performance goals
- OSHA and related safety training such as arc-flash, high voltage training
- Good driving record

Job Purpose
The Lab and Field Analysis Engineer’s primary role is to support the Chint Power Systems (CPS) team in diagnosing complex field and product issues on CPS PV and ESS installations across the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit customer sites to troubleshoot issues relating to PV and ESS inverter and system operation.
- Perform various electrical tests in the laboratory to diagnose converter failure modes.
- Work with Service and R&D teams to perform failure analysis of PV and ESS converters.
- Remote monitoring of inverter and site issues (faults, underproduction, instability, etc).
- Cataloging and analysis of historical performance using multiple systems (JIRA, Excel, SAP).
- Create reports detailing inverter and site issues and communicate with sales team for distribution and
discussion with customers. - Use leading edge safety practices and implement company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Masters or B.S. in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited college or university. 5 years of Solar and
inverter experience. - Knowledge and experience in using lab and field testing equipment: DVM, digital oscilloscope, voltage and
current power supplies, Power Quality (PQ) meter. - Knowledge of programming fundamentals and common languages: C/C++/C#, Python, Matlab, etc.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Multiplexer, agile, speed and problem solving oriented, systematic, organized, eager to travel regularly and
with short notice for sake of customer satisfaction and field portfolio performance goals. - Good driving record.
Desired Skills
- Experience in PV system maintenance, operation, design, or troubleshooting.

CPS is looking to add a ESS Field Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an ESS FAE, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and commissioning CPS’s C&I and utility energy storage solutions for our clients. You will play a crucial role in advancing the integration of ESS and maximizing the efficiency and reliability of PV + energy storage systems.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assess customer application needs and collaborate with sales and product teams to develop proposals encompassing CPS’s product offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including overseas R&D, service team, product team, EMS partners, and customers to ensure successful installation and operation of ESS projects.
- Perform in-house or on site tests for ESS products, FWs, and EMS to ensure technical soundness.
- Lead system commissioning activities, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting of ESS, while addressing communication, integration, and application challenges.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to CPS products; provide onsite customer support and training as needed.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including R&D teams and customers.
- Travel: 50% to visit customers and project sites in the US
Skills & Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field. MS degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience with C&I or utility-scale ESS.
- Understanding of power electronics, LFP battery storage, and their integration.

- Site experience with system commissioning, including installation, testing, and troubleshooting of energy storage solutions, including PCS, BESS, UPS, etc.
- Ability to work in a customer-facing role, providing technical guidance, support, and effective communication to clients.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations governing energy storage systems, including UL standards, NEC, and relevant grid codes.
- Willing to travel up to 50% of time to project sites, visit customer offices, attend trade shows and conferences.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop C&I and utility-scale energy storage solutions tailored to meet client requirements and project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, apps engineers, sales team to ensure seamless integration of PCS, BESS, BOS and EMS systems and delivery a market ready total solution.
- Conduct feasibility studies, performance evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses to assess the viability of ESS in projects, and support sales team on project proposals.
- Ensure a profound understanding of ESS products. Evaluate and compare existing and upcoming solutions with competitor offerings to stay at the forefront of the market.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers, addressing their needs and effectively communicating complex technical concepts related to ESS solutions.
- Identify gaps in existing or proposed energy storage solutions, specify requirements, and review and approve safety documents to ensure designs are compliant with applicable codes and standards for fire safety.
